What We Found
Nothing was wrong with the turf itself. The infill along that fence line had gone dark and compacted, holding urine salts a hose spray cannot reach. Rinsing was just moving the problem a few inches and dropping it back in the same spot.
We cleared loose debris first with a power broom and power sweep. Then we worked a peroxide-based cleaning solution into the surface, spending extra time on the fence-line corner. Because the odor had been building for months, we ran the extractor on that yard too, which is a step we only use when a yard has a genuinely tough smell, not something every visit gets. Fresh pet-friendly infill went back in, and we finished with a final walk-through of the whole yard.
