Turf Cleaning in Scripps Ranch
We clean artificial turf throughout Scripps Ranch with steam extraction and enzyme treatment that removes pet odor and organic debris from deep in the infill. Scripps Ranch yards have a problem the rest of our service area does not. Eucalyptus. The mature trees along Scripps Lake Drive and up around Miramar Lake drop oily leaves and seed pods year round, and that litter rots into the infill and feeds mold.
The lots are also bigger. A Scripps backyard is often double what we clean in 4S Ranch, which means more infill to service and more debris worked down into the base.
How we handle the debris and odor
We broom the blades upright first, then vacuum out the organic litter before any water touches the yard. Skipping that step just turns leaf debris into a paste. Then steam at roughly 180 degrees, an enzyme dwell for pet zones, and a low-pressure rinse.
No jet washing. High PSI blows infill out of a Scripps-sized yard fast, and replacing it is not cheap. We have re-cleaned more than one yard where a power-washing crew flattened the fibers and left the owner worse off.
Pet yards and shaded corners
The tree cover that makes Scripps Ranch pleasant also keeps yards damp. Shaded turf off Spring Canyon Road dries slowly after our coastal mornings, and damp infill plus dog traffic is where the smell sets in. Those corners are where we spend the most time.
