Why We Use a Peroxide-Based Solution on the Job
We use a peroxide-based cleaning solution on every visit. We apply it directly to the turf surface, working the high-use areas and problem spots harder than the rest of the yard, because that is where waste actually concentrates.
The order matters. Loose debris comes off first with a power broom and power sweep. Only after that do we apply the solution. Skip the debris step and you are just pushing dirt around under a cleaner.
Does Turf Need a Chemical Cleaner At All?
Some homeowners ask if a hose rinse will do it. It won't, not on a yard that gets regular pet use. The infill holds onto waste below the blade line where a hose never reaches. A cleaning solution has to go down into that layer, not just across the top.
What About Mr. Green's Secret Blend?
We also sell a retail cleaner, Mr. Green's Secret Blend, in our shop. That bottle is enzyme-based, and it is a different product for a different use case: something a homeowner can apply themselves between our visits. It is not what we use during a professional cleaning appointment. Our service uses the peroxide-based solution described above. We keep those two separate on purpose.
